Fee Structure

Application fee: ₹10/- (Cash / DD / Postal Order payable to the Principal). Cost of document: ₹2/- per page. Inspection of documents: ₹5/- per hour.

Appeals Process

If the PIO refuses to accept the application or fails to furnish information within the stipulated time, the applicant can make a first appeal to the First Appellate Authority within 30 days.

How to Apply

1. Submit a written application or request in writing to the Public Information Officer (PIO) with application fee of ₹10/-.\n2. Clearly specify the information required.\n3. Information will be provided within 30 days from receipt of the request.\n4. If information sought concerns the life or liberty of a person, it shall be provided within 48 hours.

Exempted Information

Information which is exempt from disclosure under Section 8 of the RTI Act including information relating to national security, privacy of individuals, information received in confidence, etc.
