A brief introduction of this institution: In 1959, inspired by the noble goal of providing education to students of Aale and the surrounding Panchkroshi villages right in their own village, education-loving respected persons established the "Dnyaneshwar Gramonnati Mandal". Our institution is recognized as a leading institution in the education sector of Pune district. We all take great pride in this.
The institution started the Junior College Arts branch in 1975, the Commerce branch in 1982, and the Science branch in 1986.
Keeping in mind the need for higher education, in 1993–94 a Senior College was started with Arts and Commerce branches, becoming the first to start degree education in rural areas. Thereafter, Dnyaneshwar Gramonnati Mandal expanded greatly in the education sector and started various courses including B.A., B.Com., M.A., M.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry), M.C.S., and Open University's B.A., B.Com., thus opening the doors of knowledge.
In the Dnyaneshwar Gramonnati Mandal educational complex, students from Junnar, Parner, Sangamner, Akole, Ambegaon and other talukas — totaling 4913 students — are receiving education, taught by 184 (aided/unaided) teaching staff. There are 7 computer labs, 14 laboratories (Science & Geography), and 102 open classrooms available.

In the future, Dnyaneshwar Gramonnati Mandal plans to start several degree and postgraduate programs such as M.B.A., L.L.B., M.S.W., etc. For Std. 11 and 12 Science students, biometric attendance has been started as per government orders.
Students have participated excellently in sports and various competitions at different levels and have won prizes at many places. Uninterrupted bus service for students is available, and in the coming academic year, the institution plans to independently arrange bus services on more routes to benefit more students.
The institution's educational campus has a grand courtyard, well-designed buildings, laboratories, library, canteen, bicycle stand, excellent cold drinking water facility, sanitation facility, fire extinguisher system, a separate Women's Grievance Redressal Committee, primary medical facility, and many more amenities. There is also a digital classroom, special computer classes, and experienced faculty for higher education in information technology at the junior college. For students' career guidance and overall welfare, the active and efficient board of directors, members, and village workers of Aale, Santwadi, and Kolwadi are working.
